• Do not mine other player's human built resources (RSS). Many of your clanmates will build their own RSS (usually villages). Do not capture RSS built by your clanmates. This is VERY frowned upon. It will certainly get your clanmates upset with you and can lead to being removed from the clan.
• If you build your own RSS, make sure to register it in the chat 'Ronin Resources'.
• Check 'Ronin Resources' before you march on a RSS.
• All RSS (mines/villages/farms) in clan territory belong to the clan. Anyone from outside of the clan mining one of these RSS is Poaching. If you spot someone from outside the clan poaching a RSS in clan territory post a message in the clan chat. There are several ways to combat this. First and easiest is to just beat the poacher to the RSS. If that doesn't work then you can ask them to leave. Then incident can be escalated to clan leadership if the RSS is worth it, gold for instance. Finally someone in clan leadership may authorize an attack to clear the space. Any incident like this should be recorded with clan leadership so we can track who is poaching on our territory. You are allowed to attack a poacher on a clan RSS within clan territory, but it never hurts to mention it in the clan chat first.
• Try to avoid marching on a RSS that someone else is marching on unless its a RSS in clan territory (see above). Sometimes two players will march to the same RSS. If you and another player from another clan do this, it's usually a mess but most of these incidents can be summed up with: the larger player will 'win'. It's really difficult to show who started their march first. If it's you and one of your clanmates, then the 2nd person to arrive will just bounce and return home. Do not use speedups to beat your clanmate to a RSS.Winning a RSS from your clanmate like this isn't worth the cost of the speedups for a RSS. Whoever started their march first should win, and if that means you have to recall your troops then you should do that. Clearing computer generated RSS helps the clan!
• Capture and completely gather everything from all RSS even if you don't need it or the RSS is small. Clearing RSS helps computer generation of new and larger RSS.

Well at least you're asking the right questions. It really isn't that hard to tell the difference. Once you know you'll be able to avoid human built RSS easily.

• Generally speaking, any RSS NOT ending in 0 or 5 (15, 20, 25 etc..) is computer generated and free game. example: 18, 21, 23, 24. This isn't always the case but its a good rule of thumb.
• Any RSS with more than 2M units is human built.
• Clanmates will register their human built RSS in 'Ronin Resources'. If the coordinates of the RSS are listed, then its human built.
• Pay attention to where the resource is located. RSS can only be built by humans on certain tiles types. A human can not build a village in a forest for instance or a quarry in the desert.
• Ask! If you're unclear if a RSS is computer generated or not, please ask in Clan Chat before occupying.
